I want to discuss my experience with the Emma Mattress. In terms of firmness, Joe said this was a 6 out of 10. I believed it was closer to a 6.5 or 7 out of 10. That’s due to the fact that I’m a bigger person, I’m pressing further into the mattress, feeling some more firmness than Joe did. In terms of sleeping positions beginning on my back, a really, extremely great match for me, overall support. I feel less support on my lumbar location too, so very good for back sleeping. Relocating to my side, I would generally worry about feeling some firmness on my shoulders and my hips, but there is some zoning on this mattress. It’s in fact softer under my shoulders and my hips. A good match for side sleeping. Relocating to my stomach, the mattress is certainly too soft for me. I’m a bigger person so I’m bowing at the hips somewhat, getting out of positioning. What does all that indicate? If you’re a heavier back or side sleeper, this could be a very good match for you. If you’re a heavier stomach sleeper, I would look in other places. Joe: If you sleep with a partner you’re going to want to consider motion transfer. Essentially, if your partner is moving on that side of the bed, is that movement going to be separated or transfer over to you and possibly wake you up in the evening? To check that I have a glass here. I’m going to create a little disruption around the glass. We’ll see how this glass responds. See that it’s moving a little bit, but it is isolating movement pretty well. I likewise had Martin on my group jumping in and out of bed, develop a little bit of disruption. I didn’t really feel motion transfer over to me. I would state that this mattress is a respectable option for couples. If you sleep with a partner or you like sleeping towards the edge of the bed. You’re going to want to consider edge assistance. Can you sleep or sit towards the edge of the without feeling like you’re going to fall off? I’m on the edge here.
